that is a lot of plans!

i have a similar problem, but in my case might solve it by quitting when i run out of vacation time :P

(of which i have only ten days)

NYC: three days
NB summer: two days (+ a weekend, I assume)
Edmonton: two days (+ a long weekend)
San Francisco: five days
NB christmas: three days

VOILA.

you can go to south america another year, because even if you remove NYC, that only gives you three days, which is really not enough time for a whole continent.

also, go to san francisco in september. it's the best time.

FINE THEN.

but there's no four-day weekend in september. seriously, if you're going to do SF, don't go outside of late august to early october, unless you really enjoy fog.

The good thing about Christmas this year is that it falls on a Monday and Tuesday, which means you'll automatically get the four days in a row off (Well, including the weekend). So you could probably do Christmas with even just one day off (leave on the Saturday and come back on the Wednesday.)

Also depending on when you go to Central America (I hear it is also better in the fall) you could possibly go there VIA San Francisco.

ALSO, I don't know what IBM is like, but most places let you take more time off, just without pay. If you can suck up having a few days less pay, you could easily fit everything in.
