Brad Pitt: I didn't see what the big deal was when Legend of the Fall came out and he was proclaimed by every magazine sexiest man alive. But one afternoon I randomly saw Fight Club by default (you know, when you're with a group and you don't want to watch a particular movie but you are overwhelmingly outvoted and you stay anyway...) and realized he is hot. HOT. It's everything: the looks, the smile, the voice, and the style. Then I saw that television interview that was supposed to be about him, Jennifer Aniston, and Angelina Jolie but instead was about the One Campaign and I officially have a famous people mini-crush on the man. Obviously I completely don't know him but he gives off this vibe somehow that he would be fun to spend the day with. There'd be good conversations about things that actually matter but there'd be laughter too. So, although I'm in my twenties and he's in his forties, I'd most assuredly go on a date with him, should the opportunity ever arise.
Amos Lee: Okay, I know nothing about this guy at all except what he looks like and what his voice sounds like. He's a Hear Music featured artist and therefore on the playlist in my store and I liked his songs when they came on so much that I broke down and bought the cd. Starbucks is hooking me up with good music all of the sudden. It's a beautiful thing. Anyway, I've listened to the entire cd several times and still intentionally select the playlist that features him while at work. One of the songs in particular makes me sigh and say to myself "Amos Lee, I will make out with you."
Hmm, I guess that's it. I'm not good at having crushes on people I know I will never ever have a chance at.
