The predicted area Low for tonight is 34°F, and we could easily be 5° colder out here by the Wild Animal Park. So I've put Plan A- back into effect. If it's not going to rain more, I can cover with plain cloth and hope for the best. If it's also going to rain or... snow? no, really, that's not going to happen! Is it? (that would be good for a laugh anyway), then I'd rather have something water repellent to cover with. I guess I'll see if we have enough 30 gal. garbage bags to do the most critical stuff. If I lose this round of blooms on the lemon tree, 'sokay. But I would like to protect some of the tender stuff that's in flower.
It poured rain last night and early this am, but we're nowhere near the sort of levels from last month when there was so much flooding, even up here - San Pasquel Rd. which is the designated route to the 15 South, curse the highway engineers, was closed a couple of times due to high water and wash outs, and parts of Mission Valley were flooded enough that some places on Hotel Circle had their guests evacuated by helicopter. Today, I made it down to North Park to hang out with AB for a bit and had practically no rain either up or back. We're getting a new band of rain now though.
ETA - Low revised upward a bit. Yay!
