I received my first official acceptance into a graduate program this morning - American University in Washington, D.C.:
I'm so excited and relieved - somebody somewhere wants me! That professor at UCSC that wouldn't write me a recommendation can suck my fucking balls.
(Also - just returned from Philadelphia where I made the first cut at St. Joseph's University. I think my interview went well and I may get in there too. My future is looking up. Thank god I can put off making any career decisions for another couple of years at least!)
