Just finished Due South episode 313, and I was like: "Yeah!” "Yahoo!” "Hurrah!” all at the same time. I was so very glad that Fraser and Ray would still be together--they made perfect partners didn't they!
Yesterday at the beginning of episode 312, learned that probably they were to part because of position transfers, I was quite upset. Besides, it was near the end of the third season, so there was big chance that they would do it again-to change for another actor to play Ray, which I hate.
Well, finally the end of the third season came out satisfactory; otherwise I’m not sure I’m going to stick with Due South to the next season, or looking forward to it whole-heartedly.
Generally on Due South the TV series, you can say that CRK is a reason that I followed it, a big one. But there are also other reasons, like the humor, and the many surprises within the storyline, which are so different from typical Hollywood action blockbusters. However, there is one thing that I do not appreciate. That is, they use all those kisses as frequently as those small romances are seasonings that could be added anywhere. And it turned out that the kisses, which came from nowhere and led to nowhere, did not make any sense.
Happily, they did not use Fraser and Ray’s friendship as seasonings. Probably only what between Fraser and Ray is the true romance, and true romance can never be used as seasonings.
