“Shut up!” Brian and Justin barked in stereo, too intent on glaring at each other to consider courtesy.
that just killed me. i laughed. the idea of them just once again being so sucked ionto their own bullshit and operating as a single entity, ignoring ethan...LOVE...LOVE IT.
Plus, the part where Justin accepts the bottle at the end? Yeah. Baby steps. You KNOW he's ending up sleeping with Brian that night.
First, Brian would so drive him back to the loft, cuz the other inhalers are there and who knows if he would have a relapse? Then, Justin would be all, "I'm sleeping on the couch!" and Brian would be, "sure, but if you stop breathing in the middle of the night I'm not responsible," and Justin would be all, "Yeah, that's true." And the next thing you know he'd be welcoming Brian home with open legs! And then all, "OMG I cheated on Ian!" And Brian would be all, "But since we were never together we never broke up so you're really cheating on me" and Justin would say, "But... but..." and Brian would be all "see how silly thinking that way is? what say you shut up and we fuck again?" and Justin would reluctantly agree.
Did I tell you I picked up drinking caffeine again?
i think i like you on caffine. i never say this to authors but i totally think a second chapter/sequal in which that stuff happens would be a good read.
yeah it totally came across that ethan was an afterthough, an annoying fly buzzing about as brian and justin continued their bickering complicated twisted thing that they have.
yes, the allergy attack is a plot contrievance (sp?) but hell, so was ethan so it's all okay.

yeah, that was pretty much my discussion with vlredreign. Ethan was an excuse to expound on Brian/Justin, not really written well as a character at all.
I hardly ever read B/J fic - the wounds are too deep *izdramatic* - but if anything can tempt me it's anti-Ethan, Brian snark and Justin queening out! You ticked all the boxes, brought back good (oh! so good) memories and gave me a much needed larf. Thanks. :>)
I'll read some of the better fic - mostly because I view CowLip as just another set of bad!fic writers, and I avoid bad!fic like the plague these days (it doesn't even piss me off any more, I'm just all, 'There's something for the top 10 turnoffs'.). So, for you it's most fic, for me it's the show itself, which is packed away in storage. Haven't watched it for... well, since about May 2005. Okay, I glanced at Logo's re-showing of 101 (by that, I mean, I watched the scene where Brian and Justin meet and the scene 20 seconds before) and was only reminded of why Brian's a complete emotionally stunted moron and why I hated him before he got interesting.
