Packed days
Fantastic Four was ok but Jessica Alba islooks great. She has really nice shoulders and the stuff she wore in the show really showed that off. If you are interested in watching the show, it is definitely important you go in without any expectations for the show, then you dont end up feeling as pissed off as some of my friends have been where the movie deviates from the comic book series. Besides that, while there's not much interaction while watching a movie, its still interesting to go to the movies in a large group (well because milky bought 24 tickets by mistake).
After the movie was a caffeine boost session at Spinelli's with the freshmen and other OGAs, well if they are to enter SOC, they definitely need to get used to late night and lots of coffee, part and parcel of life in here. There's something i dont like about spinelli's coffee, maybe its too thick (not the coffee) but the blend i had that night was thick and hardly contained coffee in it. Even delifrance will top that, really.
As the night drew on, the younger people had to go home and rest for the next day, while the few oldies (average age past 24) decided to go for a second round of drinks at Altivo. Its nice to be lounging around, talking to your friends about mundane stuff, sipping drinks while enjoying the brilliant night view and basically just chilling out. For many of them it was their first trip up, so i am kinda glad to be able to share the place with them.
On friday, i did some of the things on my to-do list for the longest time ever and never did due to the art of procrastination but i've finally picked up Kushiel's Dart from Yanling and managed to step into the library months even though i been needing to go for the past 2 months. Pick up two books on some hacks that will probably help with my honours project.
Also met up with Van on friday whom insisted that we head to the "heartland" area instead of town or anything. Explored Toa Payoh and basically walked the whole place. Apparently she needed some male advice on what the male protagonist in her life is up to. I guess its nice to hear after going out with your friends that it was nice hanging out with you :p Supposed to meet up with Shan and Van for lunch next week, if i wake up.
