Procrastination is a beautiful thing
Me again.
Just procrastinating a bit. It might just be a late night.
You see, after showing my new designs to my supervisor (which, by the way, he loved (thank goodness)), he asked if I wanted to help out in a brainstorm session for a new product that afternoon. During said session, the fun idea came up that I should get a second project, which would be due Friday. This meeting was Wednesday. So I had two days. I'm itching to say what it is, but I'm not sure if I can yet. Anyway, it looks like it will be a late-ish night for me. But that's alright, because the designers said that to make up for my lost time, they're going to help me with my project on Monday. Which means an awesome project for me!
I'll be away again this weekend. I'm off to Deventer and then Harderwijk to see the famed Erik and Rick for the weekend. Should be barrels of fun - we're going to go to our old haunts in Harderwijk, and potentially go to an outdoor concert. Hmm . . . I think it will be a while before I catch up on my sleep. Where have I heard that before?
Oh, yeah, cool story! There's a crazy hippy that works in the shop who I've gotten to know quite well. He drives an old rusty Eurovan, lives on a farm with horses and such, and has this long white beard that he hasn't shaved since 1971. Anyway, this guy is not just any hippy, but an old hippy rocker. He's in this band that he's been with forever, and they still perform all around the area. Anyway, while watching Pink Floyd at the Live8 concert, he revealed that he opened for them in the 70's! This guy is crazy! That means I know someone who knows someone famous! That's cool! I'm cool!
