So still haven't picked up a new job yet. I think it's because I keep limiting myself to places I WANT to work rather than just any place that will hire me. Unsurprisingly, most of the places I want to work are fairly hotly contested.
Entertainment news: I don't think I've mentioned my return to the EVE life, which I'd rate as a success thus far. I left EVE University and joined a corp called Seppuku Warriors which is at least nominally a pvp training corp, though far training pretty much seems to consist of "let's go here and kill this thing, learn from experience." Megan finished construction on my Abaddon battleship and I've been doing L4 missions ever since. I've also obtained several other ships for pvp, including an Assault Frigate which is my new love, a Zealot Heavy Assault Cruiser, an Armageddon and Apocalypse class battleships, which are currently sitting unfit in my hanger in Amarr since I couldn't afford to replace the faction-modules that are apparently necessary for one of the fits. I actually have quite a bit to write about in EVE but I want to give that it's own post.
I'm trying FFXI for the third time. Already up to L21 warrior, as well as 18 Monk, 7 Black Mage, and 5 White mage. They've done several things... well I would call it making leveling less painful rather than easier. If the game's current format existed when the game released, I would be more sympathetic, I guess. I'm still having enough fun to continue playing but if I have to spend half an hour standing around waiting for party very often, I doubt I'll keep playing for long. Right now I'm planning on trying the Dark Knight, Paladin, and Samurai classes.
