The Burning Crusade

Alright, so Burning Crusade release story: Last night, Socrates stayed over at my place so he, Andrew, and I could all go togetehr to get the Burning Crusade tonight. So we've been hanging out all day, plus John Martone and Teresa, and of course roomie Chris and Robert. We've being done various video game stuff, and I uploaded a shitload of anime to Martone's harddrive.

So 10:55 comes around and we set out for the Wal-mart by the Gamestop. According to Matt, people were in line as early as 9 o clock. We spent about an hour there, with me talking smack to Dennis over the phone. I discovered the name of his undead mage on Azgalor, Klauth. At least now I know which one I'm killing. Anyway, so there was a long ass line which was at least half the time we spent there. Me and Soc made fun of Andrew for purchasing hair care products after he said "I bought only what I needed!" which apparently includes an ironing board, the aforementioned haircare products, and hangers. The two things we actually came for, a space heater and tortillas to replace the ones of Chris's we ate were also in that basket. So anyway, around 11:42 we head over to the Gamestop. There is a line stretching to the end of the block around the Panera bread, which we join. At 12 they start letting in people a few at a time in, and around 12:50 we finally get in. We were VERY cold by this time. We passed the time talking to the people behind us in line, who were varying degrees of serious about the game. We all agreed that Warlocks and hunters are overpowered. So me and Soc and Andrew all got our copies... I almost bought an Alliance t-shirt, or a patch, but I wasn't really sure where I'd put the patch, and I couldn't justify spending $20 on my Alliance pride. So then we went and dropped Soc off and I have returned here to install BC. I've been working on installs and post-install patches for the past hour or so, I should be on final patching phase now. I'll see you all in Outland.

DEATH TO THE HORDE!
