It's funny how I'll go period where I put at least one good update a week in and then I'll go like months where I only put in maybe one or two entries a month, tops. Me, Megan, my parents, my brother, and his friend Andy went to the TSO concert last weekend (I guess a week ago today), and it was pretty good. It was mostly the same show as last year, a few different songs. Since we weren't in the 7th row from the stage this year like last time, I didn't get as pumped up, but it was still really good. Since Sunday though, Megans been back in Granger, where she'll be till the end of the year. She promised to make it back for New Years though. We've been playing together a bit on WoW, but she's had work a lot, so not as much as I'd like. It'll probably be more hectic when she goes to England and we're on a 6 hour time Difference. As of when Honor is calculated tonight, I should have my Grand Marshall's Mageblade, and then it'll just be a matter of getting someone who can do the +30 Spellpower enchant. That's is a sweet enchant, and if it ever drops for Ordo again when I'm in MC on Emiri (This will be a rare occasion), I will pay off every enchanter who rolls over me to let me have it.
So I'm uploading screenshots now to Facebook and to the OS website cause I'm bored while waiting for the honor to be calculated (and taking breaks to write in this entry in between). So what else should I mention? Oh, I got Megan the Gargantuan Black Dragon mini. She really liked it. I decided (before I presented it to her) to stat out her dragon and give him a story. I asked Megan what kind of personality she thought my next dragon should have and she picked a sneaky conniving type dragon, which works great for black dragons. So I named him Onystrax and started statting him out. At first I was like "damn, this dude is a pussy compared to Maelstryx" (who is my Colossal red). I ran a combat test, and Matt and Socrates's L20s were able to take down Onystrax, albeit with it being a bit close. So, I went to the Wizards forum and asked for some help with how to set up a black dragon. They gave me some great suggestions and now I'm confident that Onystrax can handle himself much better and won't be taken down by two L20s who are poorly synergized to defeat a dragon. Added a lot of elements to Onystrax, like having his lair be underwater (black dragons have the water subtype), and that alone should make him more difficult to defeat, since he has a natural swim speed and most characters aren't designed to fight very well under or in the water.
Honor should be up soon, so I'm logging in. Also, the screenshots are posted in the Fun in Azeroth album, so take a look (this is an LJ entry, but it goes to Facebook now).
