(no subject)
Shit, what should I write about? Though I've been busy most of the week, not a lot has happened. I don't really understand how that works. So, I guess I'll go over my week. Monday was pretty uneventful, went to Naxx, made Grand Widow attempts. The one thing I'll say for Zissou over OS is that when they schedule boss attempts, we fucking attempt bosses and we attempt em for 4 hours straight if need be. Tuesday, went over to DM Chris's played his game. He said outloud that Ben pretty much wasn't coming to his game anymore, and that we've just kind of grown apart from Ben, and that it would be best if we just didn't play D&D with him anymore, but perhaps still hung out in other situations, which is pretty much how me and Andrew have felt for a while. DM Chris's game still fun.
Wensday, we had the BBQ me and Andrew have been planning and I spent more than I could afford on(thus putting me a bit over on the month of August). It was great, and we had a lot of fun. I really meant for it to just be me, Andrew, Emily, Courtney, DM Chris, Chris, Matt, and Soc, and maybe one or two other guests, but we wound up with Ben Morgan, Deanna, John Martone, Ken, Katie, Mary, Teresa, and Robert as well. Good times were had chilling, and then we went inside and me, DM Chris, Matt, Courtney, and Soc split off into my room to play some D&D that was scheduled for the day (I am very insistent on getting my D&D fixes wherever I can). After Courtney began feeling tired, she and DM Chris went home and we went out to the living room and hung out with everybody else for a while.
Thursday I slept in from staying up late Wensday, and went to Naxx. We killed bosses. SLightly boring, because it's also dangerous, but not really in a fun way. Apparently everyone else went to see the Descent which got mixed reviews, but mostly just kind of 'it was okay' seemed to be the sum of them. Everyone but me and Andrew played some card game I don't understand called Phase 10, and me and Andrew went and watched Berserk.
Yesterday? What did we do yesterday... shit, I don't even remember. I think Soc and Matt hung out with me for a while, and we just hung out, and then Soc and Matt left, and I hung out with Andrew, Emily, DM Chris, and Courtney. That was pretty fun. We went to Chile's. I didn't have any money to get anything (on account of the barbeque Wensday), but Courtney bought me a drink. So we talked for a while, then I got dropped off at home. Chatted with Robert, Chris, and Tracy for a while. Went to bed.
Today, slept in late again. DM Chris and Courtney called me to join them on a round of mall trips, but I was sound asleep. Got up and worked on my priest for a while, went from L15 to 18 in 3 or 4 hours. Went and hung out with Soc, Matt, DM Chris, Courtney, Andrew and Emily. We played Settlers again and Emily screwed me over right at the beginning by beating me to a destination which completly boxed me in. My one attempt to break out in another direction mid-game was cut off by Andrew. So I just tried to help Socrates win, but Courtney obtained victory in the end. I dedicated myself to opposing Emily the entire game though, so I was satisfied to see her victory denied. We then supped fine alcoholic beverages and watched an Evening with Kevin Smith. I was then returned to my domicile, and am chatting with Phil on AIM rather than go to bed.
I might go to a Baptist church thing tommrow. I'm not sure.
