HEY WHERE DID EVERYBODY GO ????????
Wow, all of a sudden it was " now you see them now you don't ".
My 15 yr old grandson Khrys came to visit us and see Alaska, he was here for 3 weeks and
time went so fast, at least for me, probably not for him. He worked here at the Motel and was
a hugh help to us as we were really busy and only had 1 housekeeper. He and his Papa were
supposed to go out on a charter boat to fish for Halibut, but they got about 25 miles out and
the waves were to rough and all the boats had to turn around and come back, bummer.
Khrys and I spent the last 4 days in Anchorage together, I can't remember ever having that much energy even at 15. ;-o I think I put about 500 miles on my new knee, we really hit all the tourist
traps, he got lots of souveniers to take home. We also went to see "Dark Knight" , wow good
movie, Heath Ledger should for sure get the Oscar, his portrayal of "The Joker" was fantastic.
It is a shame we lost him so early in his talanted life.
My Heart Mom (stepmother) and niece came to visit for a week while Khrys was here, it was so great to see her & Denise, we spent 1 day doing a rail / cruise to Prince William Sound, great time.
Now everone has gone and I feel like a part of me went with them and now I feel like I have an empty spot inside. I really love living here in Alaska but I sure get lonesome for my family sometimes.
My sister Judy is moving up here the 1st of Oct. I am so excited, I will be flying down Sept. 13th. to help her pack up and then we will fly back together on Oct. 4th. YIPEE get to see my kids &
grandkids again. :-)
