this thanksgiving...
i'm truly thankful for a lot of people and a lot of things. i've been thinking about it all week. if i may, i would just like to share because it's good to be specific as well as reflect...
*i'm truly thankful that G0d brought me to china. who would've thought i'd end up here again in 2006. definitely not me. and i thought i had my life planned out sooo differently. THANK GOD that He doesn't go by MY plans. my life is His, and i love how He does the best thing all the time.
*man, i've been surrounded by some pretty amazing people this year. Father gave me insanely great friends that were newfound this year. cara, jess, mike, zac, adam, jonas, yves, ana, megan, pablo, andrea, jenny, jean, crystal, tom...so many more! Father used them in a huge way...and maybe these people will never even realize it, but i saw a light in them that was contagious and something i wanted for myself. i've also still got my peeps that have had my back for awhile and helped me through crappy stuff like gileah, andrea, joy, kyleen, ritz, katie, teri lee, morgan, ileana, jen, jer bear, and my precious b.s. girls (b.s. as in b--le study, not the other stuff).
*i would like to continously thank Father for taking me to india and opening up a new world and life to me. and for the sisters and brothers i have because of it. i am seriously forever changed by it and them. and i'm going back!
*my family's pretty much the bomb, and i love how they support me and encourage me--my sisters, my parents...even my grandma, who said she would miss me and be worried about me every day in china, but she wanted me to live life. i miss them a lot. they're weird and funny and hot and great.
there's so much more, but those are the things that have been heavy on my mind these past few days.
