my new practice is really making an effort to learn from my mistakes.
in other words, when i identify an undesirable consequence of an action, i reflect, write a mental post it, change my action the next time there is a related experience, and then congragulate myself afterwords for my consciousness and a job well done.
my favorite example so far is that i remembered to unplug my cell phone charger from the cigarette lighter in my car before vaccumming my car at the car wash....and vaccuming up the charger into uselessness.
i got really excited for myself that i changed a behaviour.
yeah, changing behaviour.
