sickly but still kickin
i am sick for the first time in probably 2 years. its gross. i forgot what it was like to have a cold...gross.
last night we had a kinda frightening call with an accident with 2 occupants pinned in the vehicle. the original call came in from a passerby who has on his way to work, but we got other calls closer to the actual accident site, and i heard the people in the vehicle screaming in the background "HELP ME!! GET ME OUT OF HERE!"...it was frightening...turns out the car was overturned...it immediately reminded me of the opening scene in Disturbia, which i recently sawwhich begins with a car accident. i took a moment to pray for the people involved...for their safety and protection. what made it worse was that they hit some live power lines which ended up across the road and all of this happened dangerously close to an elementary school.
my plan for the day: get drunk on cold medicine and sleep it outta my system.
