recent calls.
so the last couple of days have been incredibly busy at work and that is actually a good thing, for us, anyway. wednesday night, right on shift, i got a call from a lady who was having complications with her pregnancy...was frantically screaming and did not speak english. so-i had to go through an interpreter and attempt to calm her down and also figure out what was going on.
last night, not only did we have a sheriff FLIP a vehicle about 6 times, but at the very same time, i got a call about firearms being discharged at a race trac gas station, a woman who was possible shot in the head in front of her home as a result of someone trying to carjack her and her husband had been beaten with a gun...the call came in from the child of the couple who quickly handed it over to their neighbor.
thankfully, everyone was ok, even the sheriff, who we heard was missing a chunk of flesh from his head but was doing fine.
i definitely felt a little shaken up after the call about the woman possibly gunned down in front of her home, but it turned out that she was beaten up real bad, and she was ok after she was transported to the hospital.
i came out to one of my co workers, who, turns out to also be a lesbian. im glad i have sort of an alli at work.
