boy do i wish i could have a moment to just breathe....after a very nice long labor day weekend it feels like life is filling up...and things will only become more hectic until school starts and things finally start to settle in.

san francisco was incredible....i expected no less...i think we had an all encompassing trip featuring about every possible toursit activity you could possibly think of, mind you this was in the perion of ooh about 3 days...boy did my family make the most of those 3 days.
we drove up on friday...long ass drive let me tell you..but with some good music, decent reading material, and fabulous company the car ride there was a breeze. arrived in the gorgeous city...nothing like a beautiful skyline filled with tall buildings to charm and enchant you...they suck you in. our hotel was right in the middle of union square where all of the great shopping is (about a block away from an urban outfitters and a 7 story macy's...i was in 7th heaven! we walk into our hotel only to find that there is a deaf convention...all of these senior citizen deaf people...we were wondering why it was soo quiet..it was actually quite interesting!

got an early start saturday and drove on the infamous Lombard Street...the most crooked street EVER! it was awesome!! saw Coit Tower and witnessed the beautiful view it provided of the entire city and beyond...then craig, dad, and I walked across the Golden Gate Bridge..not a bad walk at all..but pretty foggy...stopped in Sausilito, Stinson Beach and Muir Woods...crossed over the bridge again just in time to enjoy my mothers 50th birthday dinner at Ruth Chris...very swanky indeeed! saw jeff steinkamps place right in the heart o the city and ended the nite

another early start on sunday to do what my mother, my grandma, and I do best....SHOP....then took a trip to Fishermans Warf..Pier 39..great tourist place..lots of fun shops and food stands overlooking the bay. saw JOEY!! whos at cal maritime with his buds...lookin all happy :) took the boat to ALCATRAZ for a nite tour...very spooky! hahahaha actually it was very interesting and informative...that was where Al Capone was incarcerated...among many other criminals who were the worst of the worst! after that terrifying trip..walked on over to Ghiradelli Sqare...yum yum..that chocolate is worth eating...so if ur ever in the area..u must stop by there!! went to the hotel on a full stomach ready to hit the sack

Monday craig and I decided we wanted to visit Berkely so we crossed the Bay Bridge and got to see Ashley!!! who seems soo happy and very well adjusted! she lives on the same street as Amoeba..how awesome is that??!!? and walked around the town for a lil while..lots o hippie stuff..very eclectic and interesting. Then we went back to the city and drove around Castro (the notoriously gay part of town)....so awesome!!! luved it there...really gorgeous architecture..very bright and just sent out a positive vibe...and got to take the trolley car from union square to fishermans warf...seriously the most exciting ride of my life......just hanging on a pole right off the cart...cold wind blowin in my hair....takin a front seat to all san francisco has to offer

our final day was a 10 hr ride home...we decided to take the scenic route...passin Santa Cruz, Pebble Beach (much to the enjoyment of my Dad), Big Sir...so incredibly breathtaking, Santa Barabara and finally home sweet home! wonderful family trip and last hurrah of the summer.....time of my life ;)...thanks family i love u guyz <3
