wonderful weekend!
CACN(chinese american culture nite) was a huge success saturday nite! i had so much fun! the energy and time i put into it was all worth it in the end. i had such a great time hanging out with ppl, folding the programs, dancing with the girls, and watching the other aspects. the energy you felt behind the curtain was so great. everyone was so excited! it just made everything great. after i finished my part of the performance, i just sat around and watched the rest of the show! everyone did a GREAT job! lovely!! =) it was just great to know i was part of such a huge performance for 1800 people. lotsa fun. hehe. maybe i'll do it again next year.
and the best part was my family was here! my auntie and her family came to LA too from the bay area! so i got to see 10 members of my family =) that was great. i saw my young cousins on saturday during intermission and they couldn't recgonize me cuz i had so much makeup on. lol.
so, on sunday, i went around with my family to just buy stuff i needed in my room at coscto, target, and ranch 99.
Mon: went to hollywood! finally! got to see the mann theater and the handprints. next to the theater is where they hold the show "live with ryan seacrest" so i went to see some parts of that and i got to see kelly clarkson and clay aiken sing! hehe! yay! that was a lot of fun =) then had some yummy chinese food with my family.
tues: here i am back at my dorm...gotta go meet with my eng prof later.
i can't wait to go home during spring break to see my family and friends again!
