I am LIVID!

I just got the *worst* push-poll I've ever heard. It was from "CPRAction", funded by NOM (National Organization for Marriage), and it made me *so* angry! They introduce the call with the note about the NH senate approving same-sex marriageThey ask (robocall): "Do you agree that marriage between only one man and one woman should be legal ( Read more... )

You should forward this to Andrew Sullivan, Marc Ambinder, and Nate Silver. They've been good about outing push polls and their readerships are huge.

arrgh! I got that poll too and I was too confused when I picked up the phone...I said yes, becouse I belive that marriage should be legal for everyone, but you are right it's such a bullshit poll. it didn't ask me any other questions after that. the "are you male?" question would have driven me up a wall too.

take heart, my friend, they are losing and they know it, did you see the numbers about how more Americans are OK with gay marriage in the last couple of *months*? and all the polling data that shows that young people, even those wacky evgangical "christain" types don't get upset about the gay thing the way their elder counter parts do?

it's only a matter of time.

I had the same call yesterday and replied the same way (NO to the first question). I hope that they wound up calling a majority of people like us - would serve the pollsters right.

Advantage of a robo-call is that the data will be counted, whereas if it were a 'live person' they could have aborted it.
