I'm really looking forward to all the new additions to our school. I recently had an encounter with Greg, Megan, & Chris. In the short amount of time that transpired, I learned the definition of a JAP, Chris taught me how to "make it explode," and Greg gave me a swift kick in the nards. It's like we never skipped a beat. Tell me, when was the last time any of YOU kicked me in the nards? It's been too long to remember. I gladly welcome my new badgers. (Assuming he and Megan don't jew out and go to South.) I have yet to see Emily or Mearn today. I assume all is going well with their registration and friend-making without me. I've got to learn to let them do these kinds of things on their own sooner or later. They do grow up so fast.
Had my first seminar today. I've got a pretty badass group. I hope they don't think I'm too cool for them. Because I am. But we won't tell them that.
Saw 311 with Slarsky and Bust last night. And by 311 I mean Papa Roach. Who played well over what should have been their allotted time slot. But I didn't care. I had a good time hanging out with those kids. And there was plenty of white trash to make fun of. Those are Laurel's words, not mine. Like the G-ed out fellas in front of us who started out civil enough in T-shirts and backwards hats. Then as each new band came on, a new layer of clothing was removed from each of their scrawny bodies. By the time 311 came back for their encore of "Down," they were shirtless, nearly pantless, and standing on top of their seats making obscene gestures. In the 3475694356th row. I don't care what anybody says. That's hardcore. And entertaining for the rest of us. So we had a good time.
Oh snap, Martha Ann just walked into the library and informed me that Colleen freaking Mahoney is coming to SHC. This is so damn exciting.
