Objects in the rearview mirror may appear closer than they are
I wore a school uniform for the last time today. I'm really going to miss my blue skirt ($1 at Junior League!) and those shoes I've had since freshman year. So many memories... After school I took one more look at myself in the mirror with my uniform on. I looked so damn cute. I'm really going to miss that uniform.
We're leaving for State tomorry. My last track trip. (Sorry for being such a sap... I'll try not to lament "my last" anything anymore.) I'm running the Open 8, 4x8, and 4x4. I don't have a clue how I'm going to run, but I know I'm not going to blow it like I did last year and get DEAD LAST... I hope. I don't care anyway. I'm not really out there to kick ass (though Coach Harris told me I could punch him in the face if I beat Kirby... I WANT TO KICK ASS SO BAD!), I'm really just out there to have fun. As long as I run sub-3:00, I'll be happy.
