The rest of my break went as follows:
Friday: After much anticipation, I got to work on my scrapbook all the livelong day. I only got 2 pages done. It must be perfect. Hopefully I'll be done by Christmas. Met Haley & Mearn up at South. Lotta laughs. We hit up the old hot spots (like our secret bathroom and our favorite trails) as we talked about everything and everyone. I always have a good time with them. We thought we saw Forest Steve's car in the parking lot and we got excited at the thought of actually encountering a Steve in his natural habitat. But we never found him. Talked to the Guys and Justin on the track afterwards. Then I came home and schooled Slar in Sonic 2. Everybody met up at my house and it was decided the Fuper Four would ride together. I made a face at Justin, Laurel saw it, and a fist fight broke out. It was awesome. I hit her pretty hard in the chest, she screamed, and I shouted, "I meant to hit you in the face but you moved!" and I tried to hit her in the face again. I'm serious. I just don't know what came over me... we were laughing pretty hard though. We called a truce a few seconds later and left to go to Valluzzo's. Alex drove like a maniac and Christin and I held hands in the back seat like in the days of yore. I shouted Agua Agua Agua! when we went over the bridge. Great car ride. When we arrived, nobody wanted to go in. So we sat in the car for a good 20 min. before more people arrived and we walked out to the pier. When we got out there, I wondered why we hadn't gone out sooner. I was very excited to see some of them. I skeezed a beer off Alex Butla because I was letting him borrow my license for his girlfriend. Ah, the sweet relief of disgusting beerpiss. I sat on the wharf for a long time chatting with Travis and whoever else came along. Nothing crazy happened all night. It was really good to just sit around drinking beer and talking to people. Christin, Laurel, and Alex came in for a few minutes and left. I don't blame them for leaving, but I was having fun so I stayed. Had a long talk with Jared and an even longer talk with Daniel. Took pictures of people doing funny things. For example:
It was a great night indeed. There weren't as many people there as graduation night, but in a lot of ways, it was better that way. I took Jared for a walk and danced in the moonlight with Alex Butler. And we ate sunflower seeds. And it was nice. All at once, though, everybody left, including all the sober drivers. So I got to shack up in Justin's car next to Mr. Ben Kunz and his man-made tent. We got to sleep about 4 and woke up at 7:30.
Saturday: Searched for the elusive Mr. Butler, couldn't find him, so we left his ass. I slept the whole way back, came home, slept some more, woke up and realized I'd missed almost all of Turkey Bowl. Cussed my parents out (not really) and bummed a ride from them out to the complex. Caught the Championship game. Saw the aftermath of the previous games (Abbas's ankle and my brother's busted nose). Basked in the hardcore glory of Turkey Bowl. Played roley poley with Hank and Vince. Threw the football around. Cheered for both teams (Justin's and my brother's). And made fun of Nathan. I wish I had been there the whole time, but that was some much needed sleep. Came home and ran to Florida (an international favorite) and went out to eat with the Fam at Blue Gill. That night, Christin, Slar, Justin, Matt, Matt, & Smack came over and we played games all night. (Sega, Talking Battleship, Guess Who, kill the F-ing moth, and Telephone) Kevin and Jonathan Lyons showed up for a little while. I enjoyed seeing them. I played Telephone with only Matt L., Alex Smack Johnson, and Justin, and we still hardly ever got it right. Granted, it was 2 in the morning and Alex is just an idiot, but still. You'd think we would have mastered that game by now.
Sunday: Shopping with my Mom. Didn't buy anything. Helped my dad clean my windows. Made fun of him because he kept trying to give me life lessons as we worked and they weren't relevant to me at all. Ate some steak. Moved back into Walsh. Pretended like I had friends as my parents helped me bring my stuff to my room. (I almost felt like I DID have friends!) Hung out with Justin some more.
That was my break. This morning in Spanish we had to give a synopsis of our Thanksgiving to the class (in espanol.) I was just about to type it out for y'all, then I realized I had to turn it in. I thought it was pretty funny and I think Karg did too. Oh well. Y'all are missing out BIG TIME.
