So yes, life. It's good...for the most part. Let's ignore the love life and the growing realisation that I may simply have to forget that particular epic class (Life, is after all, just one big roleplaying game).
A position has come up at work that I hope to be in for a shot at. I have the skills, the experience, the drive and the ability to do it, let's just see if I'm in for a chance. There are a lot of awesome people who will be going for this job.
If I don't get it, then it's going to be one of those life-rethink times, as this is my best shot to get a high ranking spot on this side of the company and if I fail at this point (with everything I have to offer) then it's a safe bet that I won't get a better one. Which means time to look elsewhere.
So, if I don't get it, it'll either be time to focus on getting to content development or it's time to start looking at a different company. Neither will be an instant thing, but it's worth looking into.
On other notes, my roleplaying games is getting into swing again, I have some great set pieces and some nicely defined character backgrounds, which always helps. Also I hear that Ben H may be running a skype based buffy game, which sounds good. Hopefully I can get in on that.
Animus, on the other hand, may be reaching it's death phase. Not entirely surprising as it is 3 years old, good run though. The system works, which is nice, so I can always turn it into a tabletop game should I want to. Marvelous.
I set up another free-form gothic-horror forum, more like the Anita Blake series than my normal World of Darkness affair (though it does replace my world of darkness forum).
On other notes, looking forward to Champions online, the early access beta starts tomorrow, so looking forward to that. Hopefully Paul won't zoom too far ahead on his week off. If anyone else is on that, you'll have to let me know your username/tag/whatever, so that I can annoy you in-game.
I also think I might start writing again soon, get me some creativity going ready for November.
Anyway, time to dash.
