Life is good, but there are decisions which must be made.
A new opening at work, I've applied for it before and failed and I see little change in my circumstances this time round. But do I risk it?
I mean, it's a good role, slightly better money and it would let me vent some creative juices and have a more normal work rota...but then again. I've been really working hard at my current job and there's a good chance I'll get the manager position for my team, when it opens (I mean I'm doing the job already, so it would only be fair).
Do I risk what I've worked so hard towards for a possible role...or do I stick at what I've worked for and go insane should I not get it?
I think I've decided anyway, to wait, work on what I've worked on and then make the change if I need to. I'm good at what I do and there's always going to be interesting work for me here...for now at least.
The position will be open again (actually I have fairly good inside info to confirm that anyway) so perhaps I should just wait and see....
