ॲ STEP THIRTEEN ॲ
When Kitagawa Johhny dropped a bombshell announcing in a board meeting on forming a girl group in the company, the first reactions were shock and disapproval. Long time ago they tried a female soloist but it was a failure due to lack of support from the fans. They were not open to the idea of a female surrounded by the most famous and handsome men in JAPAN in short they were jealous. Most fans treat their idols as their properties and they become possessive. So instead of forming a girl group Johnny decided to have an audition for female back-up dancers. The girls will have trainings like other juniors had gone through and they will observe how the people respond.
During the show where in JUMP will have a dance number with them counting that it would be their FIRST t.v appearance a lot of people wanted to see them perform live. The NHK studio 10 was jam packed; the security was also increased for crowd control due to the number of spectators that day. In the backstage, girls were really nervous but thankfully their partners were considerate, assuring them that everything will be fine as long as they do their very best just follow their lead except for Danica and Takaki who were again busy arguing in reviewing the dance.
“IT’s the right foot forward not the other way around, you idiot!” Again Danica is losing her patience.
“Left! We’ve been practicing this the whole time! Every time you move your right foot forward you step on my feet!”
“Arrg…..Coz it’s you right foot forward while I step my LEFT foot backwards!!!”
“Guys……I think your both wrong, you will shift both of your left feet sideways then turn. So please stop fighting now.”
It was Yabu who cut their argument and the two kept silent. Luckily the performance was excellent, fan girls were screaming for their idols name; surprisingly the number of males in the crowd was also a little bigger than the females. After the performance they were given the chance to introduce and say a little about themselves. Common questions asked was about how did they find working with JUMP, their impressions with the other co-dancers and the rest of the JE entertainers and meeting Johnny in person. And basing from the response of the fans, the show was a great success that calls for a celebration. Members and staff decided to go in a pub and rent the whole place just for them. Food and drinks flooded, everyone was happy for the result and partied all night. While the rest of the group celebrates, the cat and dog still found time to argue AGAIN.
“You STEPPED on my feet you jerk!” Danica hates wearing high heels but she has no choice even if it’s a pain in the ass coz it’s a formal event.
“Sorry. As you can SEE it’s dark and who told you to wear those freaking high heels? I still like looking at you with rubber shoes and flats. Shit did I say that out loud? Takaki shockingly avoid an eye to eye contact with her. Good thing it was dark enough for Danica not to able to see how red Takaki’s face like a ripe tomato.
“What?!” I think I misheard him.
Danica didn’t get the chance to hear his answer coz the girls already pulled her on the dance floor. She didn’t notice that only Takaki and her were sitting for a long time alone. Few minutes have passed when party music was change into a sweet one. Noticing this opportunity Hikaru immediately walked towards Danica and asked her to dance with him which she accepted happily, not knowing that someone was looking at them with firing jealousy in his eyes.
“You’re really beautiful tonight Nica-chan buti’mnot sayingyouruglyorsomething” Hikaru thought that a complement is the best way to start a conversation with her.
“Thank you, I Like what you’re wearing tonight actually, it really looks good on you” Did she just say she LIKSE me????? Lord……. give me the strength to confess NOW to this woman! I might die because of heart attack by just a glimpse of her smile.
“Hikaru??? You’re spacing out………. here’s the handkerchief and wipe the saliva dripping. She can’t help but to giggle as a kid. She thinks Hikaru is really funny and nice to be with guy. This view of her smiling to Hikaru made someone a little pissed and left the party without bothering to say goodbye.
The party ended at aroung 2 o’clock in the morning, Hikaru also tried accompanying Danica in returning home but Danica refused coz she knows how far Hikaru’s condo unit from their place.
“Are you sure, you don’t want me to come with you???” Hikaru is concerned naturally because of the time and there no busses.
“Daijoubo, I brought my motorbike with me, fast enough for me to return home in a short time. You must go home and sleep, you’re like a walking zombie to me. You should also eat a little more. Look…… you’re thinner than me I feel like more of a male compared to you coz of my figure.
“I disagree,for me……….. YOU are SEXY and very ATTRACTIVE woman just don’t mind the height though” Even how you put it Hikaru will always be HIkaru along with his jokes.
“Hahhahahahah…….Stop that! My head is already bigger and heavier so I think you have to go home, have goodnight sleep. I’ll be fine, don’t worry.
Danica was lying about bringing her motorbike; she just don’t want to be a burden. Sitting on the bus stop for almost an hour, she was getting sleepy.
“Just what the HELL are you doing here?! Stupid.”
“Stop screaming like a girl Takaki. I’m waiting for bus okay……… so don’t bother me I’m tired.”
“And whose in the RIGHT mind to drive a bus this early huh?! C’mon you’re going with me.”
“Chotto! Where are you bringing me?! You’re planning me to rape!!!”
“Shut up will you?! I’m bringing you home”
“Home? But that’s not the direction of my place” Danica is really confused with Takaki’s behavior convincing her that this person has a personality complex.
“I’m bringing you in MY place……. If you want just sleep …..our house is a little far from here.
“Your Place?! Why? You can drop me at my place.”
“Does everything I do have to have a reason? Whenever he says something or does well to her, she always ask why but if it’s Hikaru she would smile accept and devoid questions……
“Fine, I want to.” Danica wanted to argue but the Liquor is taking its effect a little late on her part plus she’s tired. The show was really nerve rocking and she needs time to absorb all the things happening to her which is a bit faster than she ever imagined.
The next morning, Danica woke up disoriented noticing an arm possessively wrapped around her waist. She looks at herself perceiving she’s not wearing her own shirt and she can also feel that she’s not wearing anything under it which stunned her.
A/N: this is boring and a complete FAILURE. L My mind is in a state of coma ^^
