CHAPTER 8
No one knew about this place even Yuya or her bestfriend Chinen, this little hideout of hers witnessed all her heartaches, pains and endless flowing of tears. When wants to be alone to take a break from the rest of the world, when she needs time for herself to think or just to relax her mind, she visits this place, a hidden garden to be exact. Located at the old school building at the back of the newly built, there was a door leading to the basement like a storage room as what she had thought at first. Opening the creepy room, she was surprised not to see old fashioned broken things but flowers of various kinds dull, dead and lifeless just like her.
It’s been two years since she discovered this place and now she restored the place by painting the walls with white, planting new flowers though she couldn’t find some of that were planted first and installing lights and automatic water sprinklers. She also discovered her love for plants and decides to pursue botany but due to her parents protest she took architectural course without leaving her passion in planting. She designs botanical gardens and green houses as a sideline whenever she’s not busy in her performances or loads of home works and projects with not so considerate deadlines.
She was now busy digging soils in order for her plants to breathe and mixing fertilizesr making them healthier by giving them nutrients in order for them to grow.
“Found ya!!! I knew you’d be here since I didn’t found you in that old music room. Seriously Kei what’s with you and you like secluded places? Are you an antisocial person?”
“What the hell are you doing here?! How did you found this place? And for your information I am not antisocial but the last person I want to see and socialize with is you!!!Now get out before I throw this shovel and ruin you pretty face, oh wait maybe this can help to open your eyes even a tiny bit.” Kei wants a peace of mind but then again this lunatic found her in her secret hideout and ruing the relaxing atmosphere.
“Well to bad for you coz you’ll be seeing this face for the rest of your life and starting today you should get used with my presence”
“Huh, and why would I do that? It’s not like we’re gonna be married or what”
“Binggo…….”
“What do you mean bingo” puzzled with his answer Kei wondered why
“You’re right, we’re gonna be married and tonight is our engagement party”
“You’re joking! Seriously Yabu Kota is that how desperate you are to annoy me?
“Sorry babes but I’m not kidding.”
“b-b-but why? I mean how could this be possible?”
“Well actually in our fault” Yabu is really guilty because it is more like his fault, he didn’t expect that her mom has still the habit on checking out his room and there she saw the video copy of their little secret.
“What do you mean our fault? We didn’t do anything” she played innocent though she has an idea of the reason
“We didn’t do anything? You actually forgot that we DID something? C’mon Kei, my parents have been bugging me, they even called you parents about what they’ve found out about us and now they planned for this engagement and after graduation we’ll be married take note whether we like it or not. Basically there’s no way out of this thing.” Yabu worries for Kei knowing about her present condition and now THIS
“I need a moment please”

The long moment of silence was broken by the ringing of her cellphone.
“Hey dad, what the matter?......Yes I’ll be coming home now……no sorry I didn’t see him……. Why? Yes yes I’ll be waiting at the school gate, bye dad” glancing at him, he saw the worries and anxieties over flowing on her face.
“I have to go now, my dad wants to see me probably about this matter so I need time to think and find a solution out of this situation. Please close the door bedore you leave, the key is over that cabinet thanks.” And without waiting for any response, she left him
“Will you learn to love me Kei?’ looking at the fading figure of his precious one, Yabu knows the answer for his question but hoping is not also a bad idea.
