Happy Holidays
Haven't written in a while, but here's a holiday update for everyone. Since school got out, I have been up north in Suttons Bay with Andy. I was planning to come back to Mt. P for this past week, but then we got my Christmas present, an adorable 2 month old puppy and I wanted to spend time with him since he will be living up here and I will only see him on weekends. SO I have been bonding with Hudson. He is a mutt from the shelter up here. They said he was a rott-chow mix, but I don't see any show in him, and neither does anyone else. The vet thinks he looks like a golden retreiver, and everyone that has seen him agrees. He probably does have some rottweiler in him because he has some dark coloring and a muscular build. He's already a big puppy - almost 20 pounds - and he's just going to get bigger. He has huge paws and the sweetest face. We've of course been having some little problems - accidents in the house, lots of chewing, and he likes to nip at people's hands and feet, but I think its all to be expected of such a young puppy. All in all, he's a good dog. Andy is building him a dog house while the weather is nice and we're going to get a fenced in kennel thing so he can stay outside in the summer when no one is home rather than being confined to his crate. He's sleeping in it right now. We just gave him a bath and he won't be able to go outside until he is totally dry, so if he is in his crate, he won't pee on the rug. I will have pics up of him as soon as I get to my computer in Mt. Pleasant or maybe Dearborn. We will be in the metro area starting on Christmas day, then I have to drive Andy to GR on the 27th and then I will be in Dearborn until the 30th when I hav to pick up Andy and his roommate Josh at the airport (they're going to Nashville). Then its back up here for New Years. So far its been a great holiday and I hope everyone else is having a nice time. Merry Christmas!
