Ok, so I have two great weekends I need to update about.
Weekend before last was my b-day weekend. I headed up north to Andy's on Thursday night. We went to dinner and watched Grey's Anatomy then pretty much just called it a night. Then Friday Andy had to work, so I ran some errands and hung out with his new roomie Taryn. Then I made some super yummy dinner and we went to the bar for Jesse's b-day. Saturday we had to run into Traverse for some stuff and spent way too much time at Target looking for a wedding present. We had a wedding that night, which was really fun. Then Sunday was my birthday. I got a really nice necklace and earring and we went out to dinner. During the day though, we worked on the basement. Well, Andy worked on it, and I watched. I did use 2 different kinds of nail guns though. I had to leave Monday morning to get back to the daily grind. The rest of the week was pretty uneventful except a fun Thursday night at La's with my girls and a Blackstone night with Laura.
Friday I headed back up to Andy's. We met James and Raeleen at the bar Friday night and then Korson and Caleb showed up too, which was nice. Saturday we met up with some of Andy's cousins to shoot guns, which was interesting. I had never done that before, so to say the least, I wasn't very good. The we had a great day looking at the beautiful fall and just cruising around in the Jeep. It was a perfect day with nice weather and then a wonderful sunset. Then after dinner, Taryn was having people over, and I got kind of drunk...Wasn't feeling too great. But Sunday I was all better. We were just planning to go to one winery, but after that, we went to five more. It was so nice. Although we did look like the beverly hillbillies because Andy had a bunch of stuff he was moving for his mom in the back of the truck...All in all, another beautiful day! Then I hit the road Monday morning.
This week is just going to be attempting to get some homework and stuff done and then Friday, Andy and Korson are coming down for Homecoming tailgating. And Chris and Tiff might come up too, which would be nice. All in all, I am really excited because Andy is bringing his truck, so we will be grilling and stuff. Should be fun. I don't have anything in mind for the weekend after yet, but I'm sure I'll come up with something.
