(no subject)
So yesterday was kind of a rough day. Had to say goodbye to Gordon for the last time before he ships out to Iraq. He has been in Missouri all summer training and came back to town before he heads to California for desert training. Then in September he is on his way to Iraq till March. I'm going to miss him a lot so it was hard to say goodbye. But it was great to be able to spend some time with him before he goes.
And then last night I was talking to my parents and they told me that they had to put our dog down on Wednesday. We've had Max since I was in second grade, so that was really upsetting. But he's been sick lately and he has been having more bad days than good, so it's for the better. He's not suffering anymore and he's in a better place.
Well, I've gotta go help out at a blood drive now, then I get to go up north to see my favorite boys. It should be a good weekend.
