(no subject)
This being bored out of my mind at work is really helping me keep this thing updated. Well, here I am at my "internship" as usual with nothing to do. I am supposed to be here until 3:30 today...got here at 9. It's now 10:40, I've done nothing, and I don't really see that changing. I wouldn't mind coming here if I had something to do. Like, when they give me press releases and stuff to write, I'm happy to be doing it. But when I sit at my desk for 4 hours and do nothing, I get kind of irritated. I wouldn't mind wasting time if I was getting paid, but I'm not. So I could be over at off-campus programs, making a little bit of cash. Oh well, I guess it will look good on the old resume.
So yesterday kind of sucked. I woke up at 4 a.m. with this piercing pain in my ear. I couldn't move my head, it felt like someone was stabbing my ear drum with a pencil. Ouch! It happens every once in a while. So I put hydrogen peroxide in it and tried to fall back asleep. Then I woke up and my ankle was killing me. I think it's all the running. So I took a day off from that yesterday. Hopefully I can get out on the track today tho. THEN I was going to Meijer to return something and my stupid driver side window wouldn't roll up. Me and KP tried to use our brute man strength to just pull it up so that we wouldn't have to drive to Detroit Saturday with a little TOO much wind in our hair, but no luck. So I plan to call in to work today to take it in and get it fixed, and then when me and KP are driving to the shop, it magically goes up, which made me so very happy. I am not rolling it down now until my papa can look at it tho!
Well, Friday seems like it is going to be a better day than Thursday. The car window is fixed. I got a brace for my ankle so I can run. I got ear drops so I can sleep. And best of all, Andy and Korson are coming tonight! We're going to get pizza from the Cabin (depending on when they get here, we might just order it takeout) and then do some drinky drinking around the apartment. And tommorow we're going tubing in the morning then heading downstate for Brad Paisley with Chris and Tiff hopefully. Should be a fun weekend.
Well, I guess I will have to find some other way to waste my time now. This only took me like 8 minutes...
