Summertime!
So this summer is shaping up to be the best ever. We've been having so much fun every weekend and it makes the weekdays fly by. Traverse City this past weekend was a blast. We got there on Friday and hit up the mall while Korson was at his chiropracter (sp?) appt then headed into Lake Leelanau to the Korson compound, as Chris calls it. After getting ready there for a little while, we went to Andy's house for a little gathering and got pretty damn trashed. We broke into his sister's hot tub and woke up her and her family, but she didn't seem to mind. Beer pong was played, I sucked it up for some pool, it was fun. Then we got up on Saturday and headed back to Korson's to get ready for the wedding. We went to the wedding at 1, then went out for beer and lunch, then took pictures at Korson's. Then we went to the wedding at the Grand Traverse, which was beautiful. We ate, drank, and danced, and me and KP felt so sophisticated...then went and played putt putt in our nice clothes. I came in third place, beating KP, Korson, and Caleb. Sunday we went to the beach to watch the Blue Angels for Cherry Festival. We had a great spot on the beach and watching the planes was really cool. Then we went swimming in the Lake and then walked around the Cherry Festival. Andy and I want on the Ferris wheel, which had a really nice view of the Bay from the top, but I thought the thing was for sure going to break. Then we headed into Sutton's Bay for ice cream and a little football in the Lake. We hit the road after a pit stop at Korson's to get our shit.
Monday we got to see GORDO!!!!! We went tubing with him, Pete, Tiff, and Chris, then grilled out and drank lots of beers. Today is more tubing, so should be a fun day.
This weekend (July 7-9): me, KP, and Pete are heading up to Traverse again for some Polka festival, which should involve lots of beer.
Next weekend(July 14-16) Korson and Andy are heading down here, then we're all going down state for Brad Paisley.
The weekend after (July 20-23): We're going to Kp's bros' house in Indiana.
The next weekend (July 28-30): Nothing as of now.
The next weekend (August 4-6): Cedar Point
Then finally no plans, but that could always change. Well, gotta go get some tubes. Later gators.
