So we're finally out of the car...but sadly back from Florida...have to say that this year blew last year outta the water! It was a blast, which I think has a lot to do with the weather, the location of our hotel, and the group we went with. The weather was GORGEOUS all week...didn't rain till we were in the car in Ohio on the way home. It was sunny all week, blue skies, not a cloud in sight, and at least 78 during the day. The nights were a little chilly, but not bad. Our hotel was perfect, big room with two double beds, a pull out, a full kitchen, and a balcony with a huge sliding door. The hotel itself had two pools, one with a waterfall, plenty of deck chairs in the sun, and it was painted all different tropical colors. Best of all, it was right in town, so we didn't have to walk too far to get anywhere. The group was good - me, KP, Ted, Pete, Korson, and Laura, and Chris and Tiff met us down there, and Kim and her roommates were at the same hotel. There were crazy times - more so for some than for others...but we all had fun I think. Much nut sack was shown, and way to many people got goated, but all in all, good times. I didn't get too drunk everynight, but I had a couple of good ones. We started out drinking Coronas on the balcony every night, which was perfect. All in all, a pretty damn good trip. Check my pics on facebook! Now I'm back in cold Michigan, back to school and work. But it's not too bad, because at least in March, I have something to look forward to every weekend. This week, I have an interview at Special Olympics for a PR internship for this summer, and the Friday is ST. PATTY'S! Always loads of fun. Then next weekend, Tiff and I both have interviews with the Red Wings for internships, and KP, Korson and I are hitting up two concerts. James Blunt Friday night, and Dierks Bentley on Sunday night. Then the next weekend, it's back to Windsor for hopefully more debauchery...as Chris said, Spring Break was just the opening ceremonies of the Liver Olympics. Should be a great month. So I guess I'll just leave you with one of the best quotes of the trip:
Pete: Don't be such a pussy.
Ted: I am what I eat...
Korson: Well, you might as well just call me dog ass.
