ok guys, My official itinerary for this summer as it stands now:
MAY: 2 weeks Italy (Florence, Rome, Pompeii, Venice)
2 weeks Egypt (Cairo, Alexandria, Luxor, vairous sites along the Nile)
JUN: 2 weeks home (during which we'll celebrate my 20th bday! may head to Seattle to visit Sam for a weekend)
2 weeks traveling in the following:
Salzburg, Austria
Vienna, Austria
Prague, Czech
Budapest, Hungary
JUL: 4 weeks Romania for the dig season in Porolissum, with several weekend excursions around Transylvania (Cluj-Napoca, Porolissum/Moigrad, Baia Mare)
Below is the gates to Porolissum, the Roman fort we will be excavating while in Romania. The weekends are free to roam around the small town of Moigrad,
and we have trips planned to Cluj-Napoca and Baia Mare.
