Background for those who don't know: I'm an Eagle Scout. I don't believe in God.
I was coerced into saying I did in order to received my Eagle. Sort of last minute (after 10+ years of involvement), I was asked to provide affirmation of my religious beliefs or I wouldn't be given the award for which I did all the work. Ridiculous.
From the article: A Boy Scouts spokesman insists no one at the jamboree is required to pray or attend church.
That's a blatant lie, or at best a carefully worded statement that leaves out that they require you to believe in (one specific) God.
And now they want money from the government.
