(no subject)
It has literally been an eternity since my last update. I am going to try to start writing here regularly, but I haven't been able to do that yet so we'll see what happens.
I am working at F&F Hillside again. I left there over a year ago, and I'm going back for a few months before I move. Moving = to NYC for NYU. I'm going to NYU for college, movingsixes into my dorm August 27th. I cannot wait to get down there. I went to Six Flags yesterday, on 06.06.06, with my friends from Mohonk - my last job that I just left. It was weird, I felt like I saw a lot of sixes. I stopped at Dunkin' Donuts before we left and the total for the guy in front of me was $6.66. Then, when we were getting food in the park, I got 66 cents in change. Lol.
As far as work goes, after I left F&F last year, I went to work at Stockade Billiards and Cafe in Kingston. It was a flop and closed down after a few months. After that, I went to Portobello Restaurant. It was a decent restaurant, but the owner was a major asshole, so I left there and started working at Mohonk. I thought that Mohonk would be a decent place to work, but I didn't like the whole set up. For one, it wasn't a restuarant, it was a dining room, meaning they served three meals a day, and you would often be scheduled to work all three of them in a row. Also, the money (per day compared to other places I've worked) kinda sucked. Granted you could make $650+ a week, but you would have to work 40 hours a week (15+ shifts a week). I would rather work 3 or 4 nights a week and make $400 or $500, then 15 shifts.
Enough about work. Prom is Friday. I'm not that excited. One, because I don't really like being around people my age. I am so accustomed to being around people older then me that the immaturity of people my age is annoying. Even some of the most mature people my age still have moments of immaturity that bother me. I don't know, maybe I don't like remembering the fact that I am only 18, probably because I don't like this age. It's an odd age and I feel uncomfortable.
Oh, and by the way, I need to get laid.
