I'll do the karaoke meme this weekend and I'm actually looking forward to it, but I thought I'd show ya'll what I've been doing with my life lately...IN PICTURE FORM.
Wow, prosthetics - that sounds highly professional.
Oh? you work at SixFlags? I know of it! Saw a couple of reports about it on tv. :) There's some superlongsuperhighsuperfast attraction called Kaa or something, Right?
Carnival starts on 11th November every year and lasts until 'ash wednesday' before the big Easter event. We call it the 5th season, it is that big. With costumes of all kind, parties and in in the week right before Easter you have Carnival trucks rolling through the cities with people throwing candies, alcohol etc. to the audience. Of course the trucks are all themed and everyone (also the audience) wears a costume. It's a very old tradition here. I personally don't like it so much because during that time (the last week before Easter) people get more or less crazy and let's just say Carnival is THE season to cheat or hook up. Or get mindless drunk in pblic etc. It can get a bit ugly. :)
Wow, that's quite a collection you have there. Hunting. Kind of rare where I live. But it is not uncommon in Germany, just more a thing of the South.
Yeah, the one guy Tony really does the people who have prosthetics up. Pretty damn impressive for our bankrupt park, rofl.
Yeah! We're the park that has that Kaa-thing; It's called Kingda Ka and it's the tallest and fastest in the world right now! Little secret; it's so tall and fast that it breaks down more than any other ride and they've actually contemplated tearing it down to replace it with two other rollercoasters. It's an AWESOME rollercoaster though, though I prefer El Toro which is our wooden rollercoaster that is the second tallest/faster of it's kind.
So, sorta like Mardi Gra except for a lot longer? That's both cool and rather stressful if you're somone like me who doesn't like partying! xD;; Still, learned something new, hehe!
Yeah, it's regional in the states too, but I live in a rural area where there's too many deer, so more people hit them with their cars than actually shoot them, which is as you could imagine, baaaad.
