april showers bring pilgrims
oooh just popped my shoulder. ..
with all this easter stuff, i was just thinking about the (only) easter gig i played sr. year- it was really neat. it's the time of year that things come back to life after being dormant for what seems like forever.. winter has a tendancy to seemingly streach out time. but now it's over, and soon, everything will be green again! and we all know how much i like green. yay.
also, i played some disc golf yesterday and it was fun. 18 holes of flying plastic and improvement! todd is so good- it's tough to try and do what he does, cus he makes it look so easy. either way, it's a good hike. i want to play more in the free time i'll have.
speaking of, i quit UPS cus the supervisors were dumb, except for zac. he was the newest, so he didn't have his brain washed yet. he was cool. but yea- i was done with loading and pulling the des moines trailer by my self. they can find someone else to do it.
i quit UPS after having an extremely successful interview at Starbucks, nothing fancy, but it's something different. the manager hired me on the spot, something he normally doesn't do.. but he said that i was just SO friendly- he couldn't not hire me.. heh. yesss. i'm excited- todd and jeff from class both work there, and shawn (who i haven't really talked to in a while but is still a real cool guy) too, so that'll be fun. plus i get tips. woo!
fixing trumpets was wicked easy. got A's on all of em. saxes are like flutes. yuck. so many parts and timing issues. LAME. but the more of em i do, the better i'll get. it's still wicked awesome. i kinda wish i thought of coming to repair school earlier, but i still wouldn't change anything if i had the chance.
i'm so excited to come back home in may.. espeically with brad. it's so weird to think that i've been with him for.. 6 solid months.. like- he's so funny. we're both on the same mentally immature wavelength. he likes nickleback, though, but i'll forgive him. heh.
