Newly-wedded bliss, Beatrice and Benedick style.
Weirdly, one of the things writing this did, even thought it was all about Beatrice and Benedick (one of my all time favourite canon het pairings), was make me care about Hero and Claudio. I had a vague notion of the shape of the fic when I got the prompt, did a bit of second-guessing and spent a lot of time focussing on details to distract myself from writing it (like trying to figure out just how many godparents they would have). There's a lot of my headcanon in this, for degrees of headcanon that vary depending on which version of Much Ado I'm watching.
