Doobie Doobie Dooo...

Hope everyone had a lovely Easter filled with un-Godly amounts of candy!  I know the East Bunny visited me, and left lots of chocolate, cadbury eggs, peeps, and a very cute t-shirt from Aeropostle with hearts on it...(thanks Mommy) ;o).

My Aunt, Uncle, and 3 cousins came and visited Friday and Saturday from Ohio.  It was nice seeing them.  The guys are pretty cool.  I didn't even see the older ones (Kyle, 15 and Reilly, 14) much at all.  They spent most of Saturday golfing with their dad.  Did see a lot of my Aunt and Mackenzie, 11.  My Aunt just annoys me so much sometimes.  Nothing is ever good enough for her.  Like Saturday we went to Boone so she could see App and do some shopping (great shops up there).  Anyways, it was supposed to rain, but actually turned out to be a nice day...not nice enough for her.  It wasn't warm enough or sunny enough, and it wasn't flat enough.  I mean geez, it's in the MOUNTAINS.  Boone sits on top of a MOUNTAIN...of course it's not flat.  She walked around for like 2 hours and could complain...she should try walking to class in the snow.

And then she asked me what my major was, and I told her political science.  So then she said, "Well, I guess you'll be going into sales."  And I told her that no, actually I was hoping to work for a media organization or a governmental position.  And she laughed and said there was no way, almost everyone who majors in poli sci goes into sales.  Then my Mom, being wonderful and trying to back me up, told her that I was interested in the CIA and was going to apply for some internships in Washington DC and New York for next year.  And my Aunt was just being a real witch about it.  I mean, I know my chances aren't that good of getting a really good government position.  But I like to think that I have just as good a chance as anyone if I work hard.  She can just bring everyone down.

Oh well.  Had a nice lazy day yesterday.  Watched basketball and Jon came over, it was very nice.

Today was lovely too.  Mom and I went shopping.  Had to drop Dad's demo off at work and then went to Wally World where she bought me Star magazine (because I'm addicted to tabloids).  Then we went to Hickory, where she bought everyone presents.  She bought herself and Katie new purses, my dad a shirt, and me some new bras and panties.  It might seem silly, but it made me so happy.  There's something about new underwear that just makes your day...especially if it's very cute.

Hope everyone has a very nice night! :o)
