Alright, I don't get this. I'm sitting here watching the prez speak, and he's going on and on about how we need to give more money for medical research to save lives and cure diseases. I have no problem with that, I don't think anyone would disagree with that. But at the same time he won't fund stem cell research. WTF?! Stem cells will help us save lives. They're just going to be destroyed anyways if they aren't used. And his position on tort refrom for medical malpractice lawsuits is completely skewed and his statistics are based on bias information that the GAO found to be completely false...who is he to put a value on human life?! BLAH! Four more years. And to think they aren't showing ALIAS because of this!! The craziness.
"We don't need to enforce our government on anyone else"-Holy crap...I can't believe he just said that...can someone say IRAQ?!
Whew...enough of that, I could go on and on about my positions, but I won't.
Anyways, classes were good today. My presentation in political science went really well. So that's a huge relief, and I got a 100 on the pop quiz...yay! Also got invited to Phi Eta Sigma...aka the Honors Fraternity...so yeah, I do believe I'm going to do that.
Other than that, not much going on. It's sleeting up here, and they're saying we may get 7 inches of snow and ice...fun stuff. Luckily no classes except for snowboarding tomorrow. But if the roads are too bad I won't be able to make it to that, which is sad.
Alrighty, Bush is annoying me so I'm going to continue watching the Duke game!
