Half a Woohoo!

Well, it took me most of the afternoon to get all of my shit together, but my casebook is complete! Woot! I slogged through gender feminists and unappreciative males, but I finished! I deserve a cookie, dammit ( Read more... )

i'd post something to entertain you, but all anyone is going to get out of me tonight is babble about getting fantastic tickets to the Duran Duran show here.

Good luck finishing your essay :)

LOL. Duran Duran...::sighs:: I remember when you and Toffy used to be so into OLP and SP...ah, the good old days.

Thanks! I did get them done and before 11 pm too! A small miracle. Now I just have to do some studying.

yay, gald you got the essays done!

yeah...i am still very into SP...but since they broke up it's difficult to be quite as obsessive. As for OLP...the kinda suck now that Mike Turner isn't in the band anymore. Their last album was horrible. Although, Tiffany would probably say otherwise! But, unlike either of those bands, Duran has been around for over 20 years and are still making good music [in my opinion anyway].

I like OLP's last album...so I agree with Toffy. Not as good as some of the old stuff, but I liked it.

I'm not a Duran Duran fan so I can't comment. I don't like them or dislike them.

I really hate Gravity. I listened to it...probably twice the whole way through when it first came out and haven't listened to it since. I was so so so disappointed. Oh well. I still have Silverchair and Depeche Mode to obsess over :) And Duran of course.

OLP still puts on a great live show, though. Despite my hate of the newer material, I really enjoyed their last show here in MN.

I've only seen them once in concert... I'd love to see them again.

::sighs:: I haven't been to a concert in a long time.

It's been almost a year since I've been to a concert. I think my last show was Jimmy Gnecco in mid-January.

I am waaaay excited for my Duran show! Nothing could be more exciting right now... and i should really stop filling your journal with babbling.

Well, I went to Aerosmith in April, but that was with my sister, so it wasn't as fun... Before that it was like September of last year when I went to go see Mindless Self Indulgence with Ale.

I'm glad you're excited and that you got good seats.

Babble on. I don't mind. ;)
