i have a job!
ok, so my job this summer is secretary!! i am so excited!! i was really worried that i would get some job i would hate b/c i applied so late. this means i have a job i can actually continue to use on my resume, as well as keep getting practice for my major. so everyone, come visit me in the office at camp this summer!
work could not have gotten out any later if it tried. i worked from 4:30-11:15. that's ridiculous considering we had a million people closing tonight. that pissed me off, the ONE night i need to be out as early as possible is the one day it's not feasible.
i disappointed a million people today too. grr, that's my worst feeling in the world. a few people from my corps who are doing timbrels for star search level 4 tomorrow were waiting for me to call and give them the drill since they left me to write most of it. i thought for certain i was going to have more time than i did and that i would be out of work early. i didn't have a chance to call them till midnight. ridiculous, and they were pretty peeved, not that i blame them, but it's not really my fault either. GRR! plus on top of that, when i finally got back to my room, my mom and sister are still there packing my stuff and they are getting antsy b/c it's late and they have a long drive home. i just wanted to be like, "back off everyone!" they all need me to do things and i am going crazy. after the concert sunday i think i'll have a good cry and sleep.
for the 1st time ever, i'll admit i am not super woman, and that i do not have nearly enough hours in my day to accomplish what concerns me today.
oh, i also have a home for this week, thank god. i'm staying with the garcia's till the weekend. then we have youth councils anyway. anyone wanna adopt a jamie?
poop, the sun is starting to rise and i still need to keep packing. i feel a little better now that i have vented. last final at noon!
