dance party usa.
the storm the other night was insane. i dont think ive ever seen that much lightning before. all i wanted to do was go down to the beach and watch the lightning bolts rip through the sky, but nick was alittle scared of a tree falling on my car as we were driving through roads littered with tree branches and debris.
we did however lose power for more then 24 hrs bc of it, which was aweful and we had to spend the night at nicks moms apt.
alexis and i came up with this brilliant idea to host an insane dance party, like rent out a hall, have lights, a wall of tvs, a full bar, pass out flyers kinda dance party. if five people invested 200 bucks, we could have 1000 to spend on everything. and then we would charge 10 bucks to get in, so we can make it all back and potentially make a profit as well. the only thing that we were thinking about that might be a problem is having minors come, get wasted, do something stupid and being held responsible. i dunno, i think it could be alot of fun and alot of work, but... im down.
on a more serious note... nick and i really need to find a roommate. we have one month and 3 weeks till our lease runs up, so if anyone knows anyone that is looking for an apartment, let me know!!!
