Wednesday Now
So, I got home last night and was greeted by the silence of the TV. Now, ordinarily I would think this was a good thing, but there was also the lingering smell of burned electronics in the air. It seems the TV died an ugly death. So the wife was not happy. The kid was less happy than usual. And that all means I'm not happy. The wife had also worked her backside off and was hurting too much to take care of the issue last night. So, practice has been canceled and we're going to be TV hunting tonight.
(Would have gone Thursday night, but we're going to D-land with the kidlet on Thursday, so we won't be mobile on Thursday night.)
Anyway, cooked dinner, ate, did a couple of chores, put the kid to bed, watched a bit of TV on the little TV. Yes, we have a spare, so it got hooked up and we watched a bit on it before bed. We'll probably have the new one "installed" to save the trouble of hooking it up ourselves or annoying our guests with requests for help hooking it up. Either way, a new TV is in the works for us.
Fortunately, Thursday is payday.
