"Do you wanna see my magic box?"
BIG update under cut.
Ok, so yesterday I finally met Garret yesterday. It was so fun! I pulled up to the house at like, 9ish in the morning, after me and my Dad drove ALL around centereach trying to find a ATM that actually worked, ya know? Anyway, when we pull up, me and my Dad get out, knock on the door, and out steps Laura! She is so adorable I love her! We start talking outside, then my Dad leaves, and I go inside of Garretts house. He wasn't home at the time because he was driving his mom to work in the 'marshmallow'...I'll explain later. So, me and Laura sit on the couch, and we just start talkign about the most random stuff. Then one of his cats, Buttons, started to claw on the fabric that was over the couch, and he got stuck. There was this whole big fiasco tryin' to get the thing off the the couch and then get him outside. Garretts stepdad was just like, in awe about how dumb the cat was. A while went by and then Laura's brother Kevin and his friend Joey came, then I started talking to his stepdad, and then his sister Ariel came out and sat on Laura's lap. She started talkign about this bad dream she had, and I was eavesdropping on accident so she looked over to me and I was like, "Oh, sorry! I just overheard, ya know?" But she was cool about it. She actually thought it was kinda funny. So, yet again another couple minutes went by and Laura was like "Garrett's here!". Then, the nerves started to kick in. I was like "What do I do? Should I just sit here? Yea...I'm just gonna pretend like nothing's weird..." So, then the countdown to him getting int he door started up. "5! 4! 3! 2! 1!...1!...2 and a half! 4! Uh...2 and a half!" And then he FINALLY walked in the door. So I was just like "Hi!" And he was like, "Hi!" and then nothing really exciting happened after that because he was doing something. When he and Laura were done, all of us went into his enourmous white van thing that Garrett so cleverly named the Gian Marshmallow. I was seated behind Garrett and Laura, and Kevin and Joey were all the way in the back. We had to make a pit stop in Merrick to pick up his friend Ben, and then it was off to Jersey! Well, after we stopped at McDonalds...but that might have come before Ben, but I completly forget.
So, we're driving, Garrett is singing to Jack Knife, a local Rapper, and me and Laura are just chit-chatting about everything, and laughing and high fiving eachother. That happened SO often! We're so much alike it was insane! But not too long after we got back on the highway, we hit traffic, but that only lasted like, 10 minutes. Then trying to get over a bridge ((I think...)) we hit UBER traffic. We were in the EZpass lane too, but aparently it wasn't so EZ. -wacky punchline noise!- We were stuck behind his Lexis driver too, and Garrett was like "I don't hate Lexis'...I just hate people who ride in a Lexis." So Laura having a dirty mind was like "So people who ride 'Alexis', are the people you don't like?" And that joke went on for like ever. Ha! Anyhoo, we get passed the gate, but we were still in traffic so Garrett was like "I want a road cone...think that guy'll let me have one?" "Uh...sure? Ask him." So, sure enough he leans out the window and was like "Hey, can I have a cone?" "Go down about 2 miles and you can grab one!" "Okay!" But it wasn't as easy as we all thought. He couldn't reach the cones. Wah! After that horrible 40+ minutes of traffic we hit clear roads, and was able to get to Jersey hitting only minor traffic if anything. We made a pit stop at Wawa to go to the bathroom, and then to McDonalds again only to pick up condements for lunch. We were supposed to eat in the safari, but they dude at the gate wouldn't let us because we didn't have all our tickets. Bastard. So we wound up eating in the parking lot of sixflags. I wasn't all that hungry so I just sat there talking to everyone.
Getting out of the car, we all made our way into the park, but we had to find 4 people to help get Joey in because they had a coupon, where if 4 people went in, 1 could get in free, or something like that. I don't know, but I know that Garrett was trying to ask people to help us, but they thought we were selling tickets or something, because a few people ignorned the poor guy or brushed him off. But we finally found a group of older woman to help us out. And then, the fun began! WHOO! Just so I don't forget, Garret and friends have a thing where they say 'MONKEYS!' on all the rides, and he tries to get everyone else to say it ont he rides. ^_^ We got out picture taken in the front of thr park, so when I get that I'll update with it, but I need to get the info from Laura. The first thing we did was go to a Caricature drawing place, where Garrett and Laura got one done together. It was so cute! Garrett hated his face in the picture, cause he said it looked retarted. But anyway, moving on. the first ride we went on was 'Chiller' which was the Batman and Robin ride that goes really fast and then backwards. I was FREAKING OUT. I never went on it, and the only thing holding you in is a lap harness, and the track just ends, meaning it dosn't loop around. If those breaks get fucked up, you're dead. So, I'm sitting on the ride next to ben, and first of all I couldn't find the seatbelt that connected to the thingy, so I'm here, waving my arms around like a loon, and Laura and Garrett are laughing at me because I'm panicing going "Hey! Hey hey hey! WAAIT!". But then it got fixed and everything was ok...until after the ride, when I was so anxious to get the fuck out of there, I'm pushing up on my harness going "It's STUCK! It's STUCK!" And Ben is like "Whoa! Undo the belt man!" "Oh..." I was so spaztic that day. After that we headed to The catwoman and Batman show, 'Catfight', which was HORRIBLE. The dubbing was bad and the fighting was like -punch- ........-reaction to punch-.....Ow!" It was enteretaining cause I was talking to Garrett and was like "Robin's getting his ASS kicked!" Which he was...and it was horrible. After that we went on Nitro, and me being afraid of hights, was freaking out like whoa. But, the drop wasn't bad at all. We were supposed to get shotgun next time arounmd, but Garrett was feeling really dehydrated so we got a drink. I felt bad because he kept apologising like he was ruining fun. But he wasn't it was fine.
When we were all replenished, Laura got these things called 'Butterfly chips', which are a combination of fries and potatoe chips in this spiraly thing. We got it before we went to the magic show, but we couldn't bring it inside, so we're all trying to finish them off. Oh, we also met Joey and Kevin back there too and they stayed with us the rest of the time. After the magic show, which was really good, we went on stuntmans freefall but on line, since me and Laura have REALLY dirty minds, she was like "I wonder how he worked the magic box" "I do to...I wonder how he worked his magic box." "Oh my God!" "It leviates on it's own." We were cracking up. But anyway, Stuntmans Freefall...HOLY shit, man. It's this little cage with no front, only a little thing to put your legs up on, and it goes up 6 stories and just, WAM! Drops you. I was sitting in the middle and was screaming the whole ride down. But these little kids were taunting me! Wah! They were like "It's REALLY scary! Ooooh!" "Shut up! Wah!" And then we went up. And you don't even go up slow. And at the top, Laura's like "It's only 6 stories." "ONLY?!" And then we dropped with me screaming, and afterwards, i'm still screaming in the cage, and Garrett and Ben were like like "Dude, it's over!". Laura felt bad though, because I didn't even really want to do it. After that we went on a waterride to cool down, but we got SOAKED. Joeys phone wasn't working afterwards...but then to boot, we went on the bridge that lets you get even MORE wet, and mine and Garretts shoes were squishing the entire remainder of the park. It was SO funny. After the water ride, we went on the other Batman ride, which was my first frontseat rollercoaster experience. So, Garrett highfived me and was like "Yea! Awesome!" I guess it was a big deal! After Batman, Garrett and Laura went on the spinny thingy on the other side of the park, and Ben went to get a pretzal and Joey and Kevin went and did..something or another. I sat on a bench with this young woman and she started to talk to me, so I talked with her for a while. When Garrett and Laura got off, we met up with everyone, and I brought a catwoman suvenier cup because the refills are only $1.05. It's pretty and purple, which is the only reason I got the Catwoman one.

Sooo, we went to Madusa next, which is on the other side of the park. Garrett Ben and Joey went ahead, and me Laura and Kevin stayed near the store we were sitting near because Kev wanted a T-shirt. He didn't wind up getting it either. So we ran over to Madusa, but on the way we passed the stadium where Aaron Carter was playing. Me an Laura imperssinated Teeny Boppers and Kevin was just yelling "YOU SUCK!". He said he wanted a blowhorn so Aaron could hear him. and had to cut through the line to get to Garrett Ben and Joey, and these 2 ladies were so mean! I accidently bumped into one and was like "Oh, Sorry!" "You better be..." and then we were trying to get to the top, and someone was like "You've GOTTA be joking! Stand online like everyone else!" But we got there...and we got frontseat again. I wanted to get a picture on a Rollercoaster, but we still had a bit of time, and I wanted to get the one on Superman. So, Garrett and Laura wanted to pick up thier Caricature, while me, Joey, Ben, and Kevin ran to Superman. We got there before them obviously, so we waited outside, and they finally came. One the Line for Superman, we ran into this family of a mother and 2 kids, and I started talking to them as well. Then Laura started, then Ben, then Garrett. We just talked about Rollercoasters and all that stuff. Garrett told them about 'MONKEYS!' and they agreed to do it, so that made him very happy. Laura kept hopping up the stairs backwards. I don't know why. When we loaded the cars to the rollercoaster, we were the last ride of the night, and everyone is now screaming 'MONKEYS!' so the guy over the speaker was like "What's up with you guys and Monkeys?" Garrett was like "Monket's RULE!" So on the way up the guy was like "Oh, and...Monkeys!" It was the BEST thing ever! It was the most fun of the entire night. We were just screaming and Monkey-ing and it was awesome. Laura got stuck on the ride though afterwards. It was kinda funny, but I felt bad. When everyone was off and Ok, we overheard the youngest of the 2 little boys we 'befriended' and he was like "This was the best trip to sixflags EVER!" and Laura to me was like "Aww! I think we had to do with that, right?" "Mhmm!" It was adorable!
We had to take the FOREVER walk back to the van, and we loaded up, and got to McDonalds where we were going to eat dinner, where I also learned about Jersey Jughandle rules..they can't turn left. Like Zoolander! Ha! Anyway.... There were Cop cars there, and we were curious, but noone asked about it. Me and Laura just got out and went intot he bathroom to change into dry clothes. When we were in the drivethrough we saw this little girl who seemed to have trouble breathing, but Kevin was like "PUKE!" And we were like "Oh my God! You're horrible!" "She was gonna do it anyway..." "So?" And Ben said "We're gonna read about this in the paper that that little girl died and you're gonna look like a dickhead!" "Yea, that would suck."
The ride home wasn't all too eventfull, except for Laura hanging out the window to try and get a cone still, and her remembering the 'Crazy Frog' song and hopping around and then freaking out because she finally remembered how it went. It was SO funny! Besides that nothing too intriguing. Everyone else was dropped off before I went home, so it was just me and Garrett in the car for a while. He asked if I wanted to call shotty now, but I attempted and failed miserably. I was like "I'll save myself from embarressing myself even more, thanks." Then we talked for the remainder of the car ride, and then we went back to his house, and then my Parents came to pick me up and they met him. It was SUCH a fun time. I'm supposed to hang with them again thursday.
