Black Dog
School has begun once again. It's good to be back, in a way. But right now I feel a little overwhelmed with my courses. But I think once I have a little more energy I'll be able to make this term my bitch.
The problem right now is that I'm suffering from the flu. I went to school Monday, then about an hour in I started getting shivers. A little bit after that I started getting dizzy. So I decided to skip my last class and go home. I also missed all of Tuesday. I'm feeling better now, but still generally run down and crappy with a horrible cough. So I think this weekend will be mostly devoted to rest.
As for school, I've decided that my "Animal Welfare and the Ethics of Animal Use" course is the worst course ever. So I'm dropping it and taking an Earth and Ocean Science course instead. Take that, ethics!
I have a field trip tomorrow with my "Terrestrial Vertebrate Zoology" class. We're going "birding" in Jericho Park. We're going to learn how to identify birds by sight and bird calls. Should be interesting.
Tenacious D's coming to town!!!!!!!! I have tickets. I'm excited.
I recently downloaded and listened to the entire Led Zeppelin discography. I think I now understand why they're so often referred to as the greatest band ever... because they are indeed pretty damn good.
I have Facebook now. It seemed like everybody had it except me, so I had to give in. So if any of you are on Facebook, and I haven't added you already, come find me. I'm quickly becoming addicted to this thing.
Interphase has a concert a week from tomorrow (Saturday, January 20). It'll be at West Richmond Community Centre at around 8:00pm-ish. It'd be great if you all could make it.
