Yesterday my dad cut off two fingers and part of his thumb. He should still keep the majority of his thumb, but one finger was a lost cause and the other he may not keep either. But he is home already, and it was his left hand.
My older brother is back at his base in New York instead of in Iraq. He is visiting home in October and is leaving the army at the end of the year.
That's about it, but both were kind of big news and worthy of an up date even if stating facts is all I have right now.
