grrrr...
So ive been sick ever since I got back from NYC...it wont leave, i sound horrible.
My dad has cancer. He leaves tomorrow morning for Tennessee where he will be getting 30% of his liver removed. Why Tennessee? Hes getting the surgery done for free because a medical class from the University of Tennessee will be looking in on the surgery. He wont be home for Thanksgiving.
I was thinking about my mothers behavior during the wedding rehersal and day of. She seemed really bitter and angry. Okay, she did see my father for the first time since she left. but she didnt even seem like she wanted to help me get ready or anything. She didnt cry, she didnt say I looked beautiful, she didnt seem like she wanted to be around Jers parents or even aknowledge the fact that they are my family now. Shes definatly bitter. hey, no one made her move. The reason she doesnt see her granddaughter is because she chose to leave. She was "gloating" at the reception, telling everyone, " But I will have her back in january." I hope she understands that she wont see juliana as much as she did when she lived here. i am married now and we arent moving there for her. Its going to kill me leaving my dad and sister, and its going to be just as hard for Jer to leave his family. We are moving to houston for us and not her.
On a lighter note, OUR WEDDING PICTURES ARE DONE!!! the proofs are being put into an album, we should have them by Thanksgiving :)
Well nothing exciting really going on here, just relaxing and being married :) its FABULOUS!
