And it starts in my toes... makes me crinkle my nose.

The weekend went very well. :)

The drive to PA only took about an hour and 15 minutes, and we stopped to get gas and snacks.. so it probably would have only taken us an hour. Stefanie's house is amazing! I think I took like 9897323413 pictures. True story. And for the price of it, I was speechless. Let me tell you, there is nothing like spending time with your best friends all at the same time. We're supposed to be going back up soon (in the next couple of weekends) to go snow tubing because there is a snow tubing place right next to Stef's house. We passed it and I think we all peed a little in our panties. So, I can't wait to embark on that adventure. Of course, we'll all probably come back looking like we got into a bar fight with the amount of bruising we're inevitably going to have, because of our lack of experience in the sport of snow tubing.... but it will be so worth it.

I also got one of the best compliments I've ever received in my life.. I was talking to my friend, Gina, about my ex and I and she said, "I think it is better this way. He wasn't good enough for you. I mean, don't get me wrong, he is a great guy... but you... you are extraordinary." I am so blessed with the friends that I have. They're always there for me. They always know exactly what to say. And they always make me smile. ♥

The date went very well too. :) Date number two this Friday. Going to see a local band play in Baltimore.

Lastly, I've decided on the tattoo I am getting and I'm supposed to be going with my friend Jeanea next week to get it. I am getting music notes behind my left ear and she is getting stars behind hers. This is it. No excuses. No exceptions. Just do it.

Insert random picture of me playing guitar behind .

EDIT: I am getting a second tattoo. I am getting the following:

With the sheet music and lyrics to Simple Man by Lynrd Skynrd, specifically these lyrics "Take your time... don't live too fast." For those of you that don't know, Simple Man is a very important song to me. My father played it all the time for my brother and I... it meant a lot to him and his brothers... and when my grandmother, his mother, passed away the song became even more important.
